Recurring Events | Custom End Date Inclusivity

Recurring Events | Custom End Date Inclusivity

What Changed

Recurring events with a custom end date now support end date inclusivity. When the custom end date falls on a valid day within the recurrence schedule, it will be included as the final event instance. For example, a weekly Friday event with a custom end date of a Friday will now show that Friday as the last occurrence.

What to Expect

  • If the custom end date falls on a day that matches the recurrence schedule (e.g., a Friday for a weekly-on-Fridays event), that date will be included as the final event instance.

  • If the custom end date does not fall on a valid recurrence day (e.g., a Saturday for a weekly-on-Fridays event), it will not be included as an event instance.

What this means for you

  • No action is required. Newly created or edited recurring events will automatically reflect this behavior. Previously existing recurring events remain as they were - no date changes were made.
